Optimus Prime

Two little boys that I babysit are obsessed with Transformers. They wanted me to draw them a picture of Optimus Prime which I guess is the main character robot guy. They told me what he looked like and showed me the DVD case to look at. Then I asked them to get me something to draw with and some paper. They came back with a lined notebook and 6 crayons. So I used 4 crayola crayons, Blue, Black, Brown, and Yellow and drew it on lined notebook paper. They were super excited when I was done and made me draw another one just like it so they could both have one next to their beds. I think I did fairly well considering I didn't really know what I was drawing and my limited number of supplies.

Tilly with the Kids

Here are some great pictures of Tilly with my little cousins. Nate is three and absolutely loves dogs. He was so excited to hold the new puppy and he gave her so much love. What sweet little kids.

One Step Away

I am just one step away from completing my personal progress and completing my young women recognition award. All I have left to complete is my virtue project to read the Book of Mormon all the way through. I am striving toward that golden ribbon and that beautiful medallion, but I am not doing so well. I only just now started 2nd Nephi and I have a long way to go. This has always been my biggest struggle, to find myself reading every day. I know the blessings I will receive when I am done though, and how much this will strengthen my testimony. I just need to keep looking forward and remember the end result.
